Breakfast at the Inn
Breakfast at the Kendall Tavern Inn Bed & Breakfast has been described by our guests as ‘outstanding’, ‘superb’ and ‘fabulous’. We know you will think so too. Every day we serve coffee & tea, assorted juices, freshed baked goods, a fruit course, and a main entrée that alternates between sweet - like our Pan Roasted Peach, Pear, & Pecans over Belgian Waffles served with Bacon and Buttermilk Syrup, and savory – our Asparagus and Mushroom, and CheeseEgg Roulade served with homemade Blueberry Muffins or Date Scones.
With advanced notice we can accommodate most dietary needs including Gluten Free, Vegetarian, or Vegan and we encourage our guests to let us know of food preferences, allergies and other dietary issues when making a reservation. We always have alternative breakfasts available like hot and cold cereal, plain scrambled eggs or plain French toast so please let us know of your dietary needs. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9am.
In the afternoon or evening you will find cookies or homemade treats with water, coffee & tea around the clock in our library.
Examples of our breakfast specialties….
• Date Scones, Maine Blueberry & Raspberry Ricotta Pancakes with Bacon, served with warm Blueberry Maple Syrup, and Fruit Kabobs.
• Pineapple Banana Crème Brule, Egg Roulade made with Asparagus, Caramelized Shallot & Cheese served with Sweet Potato Medallions, and Southern Buttermilk Biscuits with home made jam.
• Irish Bread, Breakfast Monte Cristo French Toast made with Havarti Cheese, Italian Ham, and Pear with Maine Maple Mustard, served with a Watermelon Kiwi Fruit Tower with Vanilla Bean Crème or Feta Cheese & Rosemary.
